I graduated in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in education from Lesley College. I have over 40 years’ experience caring for and educating children. I have taught in many different states and have been the director of a preschool in Westerly Rhode Island, as well as running an afterschool program in Fryeburg Maine for at risk children. I also operated my own home day care for many years.

In addition to being a preschool teacher for over 25 years and a Preschool director, I have worked as an Early Interventionist in Massachusetts. Being an Early Interventionist has given me the skills and insight I need to be an advocate for all children in my program.

I live in Avon with my wonderful husband, and I am the proud mom of 3 wonderful adult children and the stepmom to 2 amazing girls. In addition, I am the “nana” to a beautiful grandson, and I have another grandbaby on the way. I have the philosophy that is simple, “I treat every child who I encounter as if they were my own”. Children need to be treated with respect and need to feel loved and appreciated for who they are.
