About Avon Nursery

We provide a warm and compassionate atmosphere where children can develop an enthusiasm for learning and a strong sense of self-worth.

Our goal is to help each child connect with peers and adults outside their family. With a dedicated staff and ample resources, we support the development of fine and gross motor skills, language, communication, listening, and social skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Our teachers work closely with parents to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

  • Experienced Leadership: Our director, an Early Interventionist with a bachelor’s degree in education, has been working with children since 1986. Her extensive experience enriches our program and supports both staff and families in all aspects of child development.
  • Experienced & Caring Staff: Every member of our team has over 20 years of childcare experience. As moms and some as grandmas, we nurture every child as if they were our own.
  • Classroom Support: Each classroom is staffed with two assistants who handle tasks like cleaning art projects, helping with handwashing, and organizing supplies—ensuring teachers can focus more on each student.
